49th Annual Steak Roast
The Monterey Fire Company is excited to announce that the 49th Annual Steak Roast will be on July 25th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm!
The Annual Steak Roast is not only just a fundraiser for the Monterey Fire Company, but one of the biggest and longest standing annual events in Monterey to come together, network, talk, enjoy good food, and live music.
This year’s menu continues the recent tradition of:
Strip Steak
Shrimp Skewer
Surf and Turf
Corn on the Cob
Baked Potato
Dinner Roll
Salad
Cake and Ice Cream for dessert
Soda, Beer, Wine, Seltzer
Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and sides available à la carte.
Cook-at-home options will also be available to order and pickup earlier in the afternoon on the day of the event.
Our fan-favorite Peter Poitier Blues Band will be returning again this year for live music on the stage!

The Monterey Fire Company Ltd. Is a 501 (3) (c) non-profit organization that owns and maintains the Monterey Firehouse and Pavilion. We house and store the equipment of the Monterey Fire Department in line with an annual lease agreement.
Our members met on May 21st to discuss plans for this year’s event. With inflation continuing to rise, including an increase of over 15% in steak prices alone, we carefully considered raising ticket prices. Our members voted to keep prices unchanged because we want this event to continue being an enjoyable summer tradition for our community.
Proceeds raised from the Steak Roast every year goes towards our Capital Improvement Project fund. This helps fund projects that maintain the Firehouse, Pavilion, and the grounds they are built on. Upcoming projects planned include a Plymovent system for the Firehouse, replacement of gutters and other outdoor objects damaged by the recent harsh winter, and new doors to replace the damaged Pavilion front doors.
